Center/Program Highlights:The Prebys center provides a comprehensive suite of capabilities for preclinical small molecule drug discovery, complete with experienced project management to ensure efficient execution of projects through a milestone driven process. The Prebys Center partners with investigators at Sanford-Burnham as well as external parties including those from industry and private foundations and universities and the team would be happy to help build collaborative research projects in the area of chemical biology and small molecule drug discovery.
The center provides full-scale HTS chemical screening capabilities and infrastructure to enable rapid screening of targets on a broad diversity of assays and detection platforms.

- 2) HTS microscopy/HCS and novel algorithm development for image analysis
- 3) Full hit-to-probe chemistry and exploratory pharmacology
- 4) Powerful NMR based Chemical Fragment Screening
- 5) Highly integrated informatics infrastructure and efficient data mining capabilities
- 6) Protein production facility
- 7) Cell production facility for scale-up tissue culture, including ES and iPSC HCS screening capabilities
