Description: BASi (Bioanalytical Systems, Inc.) established in 1974 has facilities at West Lafayette and Evansville, Indiana. It provides contract research and instrumentation services serving the life sciences community, primarily in drug research and development. The core services include in-life Early PK-PD studies, Preclinical Toxicology, Safety Pharmacology across different species from rodents to primates, Pre-clinical and Clinical Analytical Services utilizing liquid chromatography and mass spectroscopy. The facilities are purpose built to handle both GLP and non-GLP studies. On the instrumentation sector, BASi is known for its well-known automated blood sampling system ‘Culex®’, amongst other instruments including Raturn, Pigturn, Electrochemical detectors, microdialysis systems and automated ECG analyzer.
